Easter egg hunt invitation

Easter egg hunt invitations

The Easter egg hunt is one of the sweetest holiday traditions in the world. Eggs either chocolate or painted are hidden in various places either indoors or out and children find the eggs and put them in a basket. The easter egg has its roots in traditional christian tradition, however, the modern evolution of this symbol brings joy and laughter to children the world over and most people will celebrate this holiday and participate in the easter egg hunt if you invite them.
Why not organise your own easter egg hunt? Begin with one of our Easter egg hunt invitations and print one out for each family you wish to invite. Choose a location, whether it be your property or a lovely park somewhere. Ensure that once the eggs are hidden, they are watched closely if they are in a public place especially if they are edible. Holding the hunt on your property is the ideal way to ensure the eggs are not  interfered with by strangers. Make sure the eggs are brightly coloured to make it easy for the children to find. Try plastic eggs with toys or non-chcolate treats inside to ensure that those people that you invite with peanut allergies are taken care of.
On the day of the hunt, set up a table and give each child a basket or box to put their eggs in. You can also hand out other special treats to those not participating in the hunt. Ensure children are supervised and that no eggs are eaten until in the company of an adult to ensure children do not eat anything that was not intended to be eaten!!
You can then have a BBQ or other food available to the attendees and make a day of it. An easter egg hunt is a lovely day for children and you will find that you enjoy it very much yourself too!
